316LN
1.4429 quality stainless steel, austenitic acid resistant steel with increased Nitrogen and Molybdenum content, resistant to intergranular and crevice corrosion . It is distinguished from the 316 quality standard grades by significantly better resistance to chlorides, seawater, acids, cracks and product fatigue during operation. In addition, the improved chemical composition allows the material to be used in much more aggressive environments at higher temperatures than standard 316 steel . It is used in the manufacture of pump parts, plumbing and pipelines, radiator parts, special tanks, heat exchangers . Mixers, surgical instruments, prostheses, machine components in the pharmaceutical , chemical, petrochemical, cryogenic , cellulose and food processing industries.
