UNS S32750 (1.4410) is a duplex stainless steel specifically designed for service in chloride-containing environments. It has a very good resistance against localized corrosion and stress corrosion cracking along with high mechanical strength. It is widely used in oil and gas, hydropower, pressure vessels, paper , structural components and chemical tankers.

Hot processing

Solution annealing at 1100 ° C followed by water quenching.

Weldability

1.4410 stainless steel malmez are i t weldability features and austenitic be welded by using the welding method used for most stainless steels. When welding you will use ISO 25 9 4 NL or something similar to filler metal. Steel can be formed both cold and hot. It is more difficult to machine than austenitic steel. Processing will be done with high speed tools.
