1.4306 is an austenitic chromium-nickel steel with a low carbon content and a higher alloy version of 1.4307 . With a slightly raised chrome and a slightly higher nickel content, 1.4306 is more corrosion resistant than 1.4307.
Main applications: Automotive Industry, Chemical Industry, especially nitric acid production and storage, Electronic equipment, petroleum industry / petrochemical industry, food industry, mechanical engineering .
