EN 1.5415 steel is an alloy steel formulated for primary forming in forged products. The specified properties are suitable for the normalized case. 1.5415 - is the EN numerical designation of the material , 16Mo3 is the chemical designation . EN 1.5415 has a moderately high density among machined alloy steels. In addition, it has a moderately low electrical conductivity and a moderately high thermal conductivity.
16Mo3 steel is used in the production of furnaces, parts of steam boilers, pressure vessels, heat exchangers , collective rooms, chemical equipment parts, hot gas distributors, bolts, flanges , nuts, coils, collectors and other energy equipment.
Weldable class.
