Physical Properties
DIN EN 1.4541 stainless steel (X6CrNiTi18-10) is a variant version of 1.4301 The addition of titanium stabilizes carbides without sensitization, because titanium forms more stable carbides than chromium. These carbides remove carbon from the solid solution and prevent the precipitation of chromium carbide. Therefore, this material is also called stabilized stainless steel. 1.4541 material has high corrosion resistance, good weldability and cold formability.
